Sony Ericsson J10i GPS Tracking App

The My World GPS Tracker application by Location Of allows you to use your Sony Ericsson J10i mobile phone for real-time GPS tracking, to put your actual GPS locations and tracks live on the map.

You can then share your live map with friends and family or embed it in your own website, so others can watch your whereabouts in real-time.

The Sony Ericsson J10i is supported; People have been able to succesfully submit GPS tracks using the Sony Ericsson J10i.

Getting started with Sony Ericsson J10i

Step one Download the My World GPS Tracker app for Sony Ericsson J10i.
Step two Install the app on your device and set up an account.
Step three Confirm your email address and surf to your new personal map page here on the website.

Whenever you go out and start a journey, start the application. Whenever you arrive at your destination, close the app. Your tracks will be recorded here on the website and can be viewed by friends and family in real time. An example is shown on the right.

Please note the app is being designed for Symbian (Nokia) specifically, but may work, and has been proven to work, on other devices aswell. Since this is a hobby project I will only be able to provide support for Nokia phones with internal GPS chipset. I do not own nor test the app on other brands.
