Donations

The Location Of project is largely funded by donations. If you would like to make a contribution toward the upkeep and maintenance of the project, you may donate any amount you feel is right, or, purchase a license for your account from your profile page instead, which will unlock several additional features on the website.

Why should I donate?

It costs me money to provide you with everything you enjoy on this site (over € 12,000.00 out of pocket so far). If you would like to pay for what you get, or if you think it is fair that I make something for the thousands of hours that I've put into my software, please consider donating as your means allow. Donations will help keep my software free. If you are seeing tough times, a simple ‘thank you’ e-mail would even be welcome.

What do I get for donating?

Instead of donating, you could purchase a license for your account. To do that, you need to log in to your account and go to the 'License Type' tab on your profile. This will unlock several additional features on the website for your account. However, you could also donate;

By donating at least € 150.00 you surpass Volki's donation and become the All-Time Top Donator.
You will earn a respectful link on this page stating you are the All-Time Top Donator, until someone surpasses your amount. By doing so, you will also become this month's top donator. This is rewarded with a permanent link on this page, stating you were the top donator as long as no one surpasses you before the end of the month.

By donating at least € 9.95 you will surpass DieHeese3's donation and become this month's top donator. This will get you a permanent link on this page, as long as no one surpasses your donation before the end of the month.
